Abstract

DEVELOPING LEARNING MULTIMEDIA BASED SCIENTIFIC APPROACH INTEGRATED WITH CHARACTER VALUES FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL’S STUDENTS IN YOGYAKARTA  This study was aimed at developing a learning multimedia based scientific approach integrated with character values for elementary students’ in Yogyakarta. The approach usedin this study was Research and Development (R D) which was adopted from development model of Borg and Gall. Subjects consisted of teachers and students at first grade in elementary school of Yogyakarta. Data was collected using questionnaire, observation, and documentation study, supported with focus group discussion (FGD) and also logbook.Data was analysed using through descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results were including: (1) Based on preliminary research it can be found that character education has not been implemented effectively; (2) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) indicates that the integration of character education into subject matters is  significant and  a must; and (3) A prototipe of learning multimedia was developed and produced; and the multimedia had been validated by experts (media and material).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pemahaman belajar praktik melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan (2) keefektifan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran praktik instalasi listrik I. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian adalah; kemampuan praktik  peserta didik pada kelompok  Eksperimen (E) yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual, lebih tinggi dari  kelompok Kontrol (K) yang menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan indikator penggunaan pendekatan kontekstual lebih tinggi, yang mendeskripsikan efektif dipergunakan dalam pembelajaran praktik.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF WORK-BASED LEARNING ON ENTREPRENEURIAL INSIGHTS Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of work-based learning on entrepreneurial insights. This research uses Ex-post Facto with correlational approach. Subject of this research are 315 students grade 2 and 3 of Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama, SMP). Research instrument used questionnaire and documentation. The instruments were validated by using confirmatory factor analysis. Then, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used to analyze the effect of work-based learning on students’ entrepreneurial insight. The results show: (1) model of work-based learning can significantly develop students’ entrepreneurial insights, (2) variable in term of working guidance can build students' entrepreneurial insights significantly with a contribution of 1.96%, (3) variable about work interest can build students 'entrepreneurial insights significantly with a contribution of 6.25%, (4) technological mastery variables can develop students' entrepreneurial insights significantly with a contribution of 5.29%, (5) working appreciation variables can build students 'entrepreneurial insights significantly with a contribution of 12.96%, and (6) variable learning satisfaction can build students' entrepreneurial insights significantly with a contribution of 49%. Keywords:  work-based learning, work guidance, work interest, technology mastery,  learning satisfaction, entrepreneurial insight.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sosiologi dengan pendekatan imajinasi sosiologi di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (4-D model), yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D model. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sudah layak digunakan berdasarkan pada hasil validasi ahli dan hasil uji coba terbatas yang sesuai dengan pendekatan imajinasi sosiologi, sehingga telah teruji secara teoritis dan empiris.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEngineering CNC Turning aims; (1) produce a prototype, which is capable of a teaching aids, and resources of CNC programming. Engineering conducted following the procedures Research and Development (R D) expressed Borg and Gall. Starting with a needs study of teaching aids/media of CNC programming; defining products (define); designing a system and form (design); develop products and test its performance (develop); and the revision/ improvement of product performance (revise). Results of the research is a prototype CNC Turning as taching aids/media, which is capable of; (1) demonstrate the operation of a CNC machine (input/editing program), program execution (such as graphic toolpath and the workpiece machining process); (2) providing experience operate the CNC machine that is not scary (prototype has a small size, mini); (3) demonstrate command codes which are the main learning materials in CNC programming

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan tingkat pelaksanaan aspek karakter dan prestasi belajar siswa antara kelas yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Competence Based Training (CBT) berbasis karakter dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan; (2) Efektivitas model pembelajaran CBT berbasis karakter untuk pembelajaran praktik kerja mesin di SMK, dalam meningkatkan kualitas lulusan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan dan komitmen organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja serta implikasinya pada kepuasan kerja. Responden penelitian adalah 100 responden tenaga kependidikan (karyawan non dosen) di Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah structural equation modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan Lisrel 8.54. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  Variabel Trust dan Komitmen Organisasi memiliki kontribusi atau pengaruh yang kuat yaitu sebesar 76,0% terhadap varians variabel Motivasi Kerja. Variabel  Trust, Komitmen Organisasi dan Motivasi Kerja memiliki kontribusi atau pengaruh yang kuat yaitu sebesar 82,0% terhadap varians variabel Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran dengan teknik observasi lingkungan berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan kuantatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru sekolah dasar yang mewakili empat  kecamatan di Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, para guru belum membuat perencanaaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan teknik observasi lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi kearifan lokal. Hal ini terjadi karena guru belum memahami secara tepat proses pembelajaran menggunakan teknik observasi lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi kearifan lokal. Karena itu, perlu disusun acuan yang jelas dan operasional sebagai pedoman bagi guru dalam penyusunan RPP, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: kearifan lokal, pembelajaran, dan observasi lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap perkuliahan Proses Industri Kimia (PIK) 1 di PS Teknik Kimia Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode resitasi pada siklus kedua dan ketiga meningkatkan hasil perkuliahan PIK 1 dibandingkan siklus pertama yang tidak menggunakan metode resitasi (konvensional). Dengan metode resitasi, mahasiwa lebih puas dan aktif dalam perkuliahan yang diindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa yang memperoleh nilai minimal B meningkat 20.07%, kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap suasana perkuliahan dan sistematika penyampaian materi masing-masing meningkat 9.38% dan 5.39%.

Abstract

 AbstractThe study aims to find the softskills attributes based local culture that can be used as a learning activity supleman on vocational teacher candidates in North Sumatera, and to determine the level of relevance of each attribute of soft skills in several locations in North Sumatra. This study uses two stages of implementation, namely the exploration stage and the verification stage attribute of soft skills. Exploration carried out to find the attributes of soft skills in dominant ethnic groups the considered in the region of North Sumatra which include: ethnic Batak, Malay, Javanese and Minang.  The verification activities involved 126 teachers spread in 12 vocational schools in North Sumatra. The results showed that there were 15 attributes of soft skills based local culture relevant in North Sumatra can used as a supplement to learning vocational teacher candidates. The verification results shown that the relevance of softskills attributes are high category. The result of relevance level differences between regions/locations, shows that all the attributes of soft skills have the same  degree of relevance to each region, so that all the attributes of soft skills can be integrated in the learning regardless of the specific location.
